- Quest and diary items: Quickly make one-off items (e.g. armour, tools) needed for quests and diaries without manual misclicks.
- Profit-focused runs: Use current GE prices to pick bars/items with positive profit per bar; let the plugin handle the repetitive clicking.
Smithing overview
Smithing is a production skill through which players create a wide variety of metal items from ore and metal bars. It is the companion skill of Mining, which generates raw materials used in Smithing. Ores acquired from Mining are smelted into metal bars at furnaces, and then hammered into items at anvils. Many smithable items are useful in combat, quests, and the training of a number of other skills such as Crafting and Fletching.
Smithing is the process by which players craft a metal item out of one or more metal bars. Smithing is always done at an anvil, using a hammer or an Imcando hammer. When a player clicks on an anvil or uses a metal bar with one, an overlay is shown in which the player selects which item to forge. The player can either click the item to smith one such item, or right-click on the item and select a higher quantity of items to smith. Smithing takes place at a time interval of 5 ticks (roughly 3 seconds) per item created, regardless of the items being created or how many bars are being used per item. Each piece of the Smiths' Uniform gives a 20% chance to speed up actions performed at an anvil by 1 tick (from 5 to 4), up to a 100% chance with the full set.
How anvils work
An anvil is used to smith items through the Smithing skill. An anvil can be used to smith items by click on an anvil or using a bar on it while the player has a hammer in their inventory or is wielding an Imcando hammer. Upon interaction, a selection screen will come up allowing the player to choose an item to make. Multiple players can use the same anvil simultaneously.
There are several anvils located around Gielinor which are identified with an anvil icon on the minimap and world map. The most convenient anvil may be that in western Varrock, since it is directly opposite a bank and close to the Grand Exchange. Players who have completed Song of the Elves can use the anvil in Prifddinas near the south-eastern bank, and it is the closest to a bank and a furnace.
