Rewards

Boat repair kits and hull parts can be constructed at a shipwrights' workbench near a bank and resold to other players, which is different from most other Construction training methods which use resources without producing items. The quest Pandemonium is required in order to use the shipwrights' workbench.

Planks are worth roughly half as much experience each at a shipwrights' workbench, reducing the overall experience per hour, but the resale value can make this method worthwhile for some players. It is also more relaxed than traditional Construction, with up to 29 seconds per inventory of idle time.

Unlike most Construction training methods, completed repair kits are tradeable and can be resold on the Grand Exchange to recoup a large portion of the plank cost. Higher-tier kits (Ironwood and Rosewood) produce multiple kits per craft, so inventory space must be left free or the workbench will refuse the action.
