Sandstone is mined in random piece sizes (1 kg, 2 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg).
Sandstorm & buckets of sand
Just west of the quarry, Sandstorm is a grinding machine. Deposit sandstone (unnoted only); sand output depends on the weight of sandstone deposited. Claim buckets of sand from Drew for 50 coins each (plus a bucket). He can store up to 25,000 buckets (banknotes accepted).
Transportation
- Camulet (after Enakhra's Lament) — teleport to Enakhra's Temple, very close to the quarry; western exit is best for granite/sandstone. With hard Desert Diary, can teleport to the entrance.
- Pharaoh's sceptre to Ancient Pyramid (Jaldraocht), then walk
- Ferryman Sathwood's ferry from Al Kharid to Ruins of Unkah, then walk north
- Magic carpets to Bedabin Camp, then walk south
- Pollnivneach house teleport, then carpets or run south and west
