Requirements

• 50+ Firemaking to enter
• Tools: axe, knife, hammer, tinderbox or bruma torch (many basics are obtainable from crates at the Doors of Dinh)
• Rejuvenation potions to heal pyromancers and yourself (unfinished potions and bruma herbs available inside), or Hitpoints cape / regen bracelet and similar regen to reduce food reliance
• Warm clothing: four pieces equipped for maximum damage reduction from the cold; passive damage scales with Firemaking level and how many braziers are lit

Experience rates

Experience scales with your current level on each action (multiplier × level). The following activities provide experience as a multiple of the player's current level:

Rewards

Succeeding in subduing the Wintertodt with a minimum of 500 points will reward players with Firemaking experience (Firemaking level * 100), as well as being owed at least two rewards from the reward cart. Every 500 additional points will guarantee an extra reward owed.

• Supply crate rolls scale with points; cart loot improves with your Herblore, Mining, Fishing, Crafting, Farming, and Woodcutting levels when you search
• Subduing while earning at least 500 points is a requirement for the medium Kourend and Kebos Diary

Location

Players must assist the Order of the Sacred Flame, a special group of Arceuus mages, to keep the Wintertodt at bay.

• Common travel: games necklace (after visiting Kourend once), Lovakengj minecart to Northern Tundras, fairy ring CIS and walk west, or Arceuus Home Teleport
